From 26th to 29th November 2024, the Bauma CHINA 2024 Construction and Mining Machinery Trade Fair is held in the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.
Qiyuan Green Power, together with its ecosystem partners, has brought more than 60 exhibits, including Qiyuan Standard Battery Pack (400kWh battery for loaders), 284 kWh Battery for loaders, mobile charging and monitoring equipment, Magic Box 400 kWh Battery (200 kWh Pack displayed on site), and mobile power delivery solution for mining including the VE800 Off-road Mobile Supply Vehicle, to share Qiyuan's product innovations and application cases in the field of green mining and construction machinery with 10,000 visitors on the site, and jointly present a technological feast of ‘wind/PV power generation-storage-charging & swapping integration - green intelligent mining solutions’!

Demonstration of Innovative Exhibits

The Standard Battery Pack is a single-unit platform battery pack product designed by Qiyuan Green Power based on the differentiated power requirements of various types of electric transport vehicles and construction machinery products in the market. Its mass energy density is the highest in the market, which is over 170 Wh/kg. It is also highly integrated, flexible, safe, reliable, and durable. With its modularity and flexibility, it not only perfectly fits the systematic demand for large-capacity power supply for mainline logistics and mining trucks, but also considers the specific requirements of small-capacity power supply for medium-sized and light-duty trucks, achieving a comprehensive coverage from heavy-duty to light-duty applications. In addition, its robust and reinforced structural design and the high protection level beyond the norm ensure that the system can still operate stably and without fear of challenges in extremely harsh operating environments.


At present, the 800-kWh mining truck battery system has been used in the first 91-ton battery swapping wide-body mining truck of Qiyuan Green Power - Rio Tinto Group, which provides a solid power guarantee for Rio Tinto Group to carry out the electric battery swapping mining truck technology application in the OT mine project in Mongolia.
With the continuous progress of the construction machinery industry, there is a growing demand for large power and long-range capability of the equipment. In response to the needs of loaders and other high-energy-consuming operating equipment, Qiyuan has launched the 400-kWh battery system for loaders, which consists of eight Qiyuan Standard Battery Packs in a 4-serial and 2-parallel configuration to meet the high standard and requirements of the construction machinery sector for a long-lasting power supply.

Meanwhile, the highly integrated design of the product integrates PDU, wiring harness and liquid cooling pipeline in the internal system, which not only meets the needs of the loader to be used for a long period of time under harsh working conditions, but also the installation is very simple, as it only needs to hoist overhead and attach the whole system to the frame of the vehicle, which saves 80% of the time of the installation and connection, and significantly improves the production efficiency of the whole vehicle. Moreover, compared with the traditional diesel truck, the energy consumption and operation costs of the electric loader are lower, and it can save more than 200,000 yuan in operation costs every year, so that the enterprise can achieve both economic and environmental protection benefits.

Mobile Energy Delivery

Qiyuan Green Power cooperates with ecosystem partners in the field of mobile energy delivery, has launched series of mobile energy delivery solutions. The solutions have equipped with Qiyuan’s 142kW·h、200kW·h、284kW·h self-developed battery systems. It achieves the ‘supplying electricity to machinery” convenient service, allows off-road machinery to be capable of working continuously under ‘off-road and off-grid’ scenarios, satisfies the power supplies under complex working conditions.
Based on the ‘scenario-oriented and intelligence-oriented’ design philosophy, Qiyuan Green Power dedicates to make electrical construction machinery to be its main source of profits. Through these innovative products, not only the advantages of electrical construction machinery are maximized, the operational efficiency and profitability of Qiyuan is improved, which also actively contributes to the establishment of greener and more intelligent ecosystem of electrical construction machinery .

On-site Display of Sandbox

To allow the audience to have a more intuitive and deeper understanding of Qiyuan Green Power's wind/PV power generation-storage-charging & swapping integration - green intelligent mining solutions’, Qiyuan has created a sandbox model of the mining truck battery swapping station based on the mining operation scenario for this exhibition. The complex process of the mining operation and the details of Qiyuan's solution are clearly demonstrated in the sandbox, just like being in a real mine site, attracting many visitors to stop and watch.
The CK12 mining truck battery swapping station displayed this time is a vertical separatable charging and battery swapping station newly launched by Qiyuan. The station integrates two CK6 stations for combination, enabling different combinations of dual-robot single-channel and dual-robot dual-channel configuration, adapting to different mining battery swapping scenarios, with fully-automatic battery swapping, dual-robot high-speed swapping, and intelligent guidance for drivers to park the car, etc. The station is capable of adapting to a wide range of batteries, such as 528kWh/CTB568kWh/770kWh/CTB800kWh, and it satisfies the needs of charging and swapping of the mining trucks with different power consumption.

Launch of Leading Solutions

At the exhibition site, Zhang Qiliang, General Manager of the Mining Division of Qiyuan Green Power, introduced Qiyuan Green Power's ‘wind-solar storage, charging, swapping and transport - green intelligent mining solutions’ in detail to the guests who are interested in the development of green mines.

He mentioned that at present, the mining industry is in the midst of a comprehensive change of new energy superimposing on digitalisation and intelligence, leading the industry to move forward in the direction of clean, automation and digitalisation. The CTB Battery and Q-Box Battery System developed by Qiyuan, as well as the flexible and efficient power exchange station solutions, can adapt to a variety of complex working conditions and meet the high reliability requirements of mining equipment in harsh environments. Superimposed with advanced technological instruments such as autonomous driving and mobile power delivery, it can further reduce the operating costs and safety risks of the mining industry.
